MBA goes haute couture with reputable French fashion house Chanel

chanelThe Ateliers d’Art  (workshops) of Maison Desrues Paris,  manufacturing costume jewellery, buttons and ornamentation for Chanel Autumn/Winter collection 2014 have purchased a fine mohair brushed yarn from MBA.

The ecru yarn being single ply (1 / 4’s Nm) was manufactured at MSL (Ladywell Mills) in fine mohair and nylon. It is presently undyed and will be used in the construction of costume jewellery and accessories by Desrues the Haute Couture, Jewellery & Accessories manufacturer of Chanel corporation in Plailly on the outskirts of Paris.

Chris has spent the last 4 years as the Managing Director of MBA yarns and he describes his time as challenging but at the same time very rewarding. “I have been embraced as part of the family and my own skill base has been significantly enhanced as a consequence of working with the management team.”
